MAG Audio AIR-CX10 at Flamingoos Breda: The New Series Makes Its Dutch Installation Debut
MAG Audio only recently began shipping its new AIR-CX coaxial installation series, yet projects built around it are already taking shape in several countries. One of the first is the new sound system at Flamingoos Breda, marking the debut installation of the AIR-CX10 in the Dutch bar and hospitality sector.
Flamingoos Breda is a vibrant bar in the heart of Breda, where music, DJ sets and regular parties are central to the atmosphere. The new system therefore needed to perform equally well at comfortable background levels and during energetic evening programs.
The system was designed, installed and commissioned by Prodjex Audiovisueel. At its core are 10-inch coaxial MAG Audio AIR-CX10 loudspeakers with symmetrical 90° × 90° coverage. These are supported by passive 15-inch MAG Audio Sub 15 subwoofers, with amplification provided by a Powersoft Quattrocanali 2404.
Careful loudspeaker placement delivers consistent coverage throughout the venue, clear reproduction of both music and speech, and ample dynamic headroom for parties and large events. The subwoofers add deep, controlled bass and the physical impact required for more energetic programs.
The Flamingoos Breda installation is one of the first real-world applications of the AIR-CX series. It demonstrates how a compact coaxial system can combine consistent coverage, clarity and the dynamic capability required for modern bar and hospitality environments.
