MAG Audio I-Series — a new benchmark in professional installation amplification
MAG Audio introduces the I-Series, a line of professional installation amplifiers featuring onboard DSP, Web UI, and AES3 connectivity. Designed for flexibility and performance, the series includes six models to cover a wide range of system configurations:
4-channel IQ (Quad) models:

All power ratings are RMS at 4 ohms. Channels can be bridged in pairs to deliver higher power where needed — for example, to drive subwoofers.
Built on a high-efficiency Class D architecture, all I-Series amplifiers share a unified 2U chassis design and are equipped with the DANA PRO DSP platform, featuring preloaded speaker presets for MAG Audio loudspeakers, enabling fast setup and consistent voicing. Despite varying channel count and output power, all models run on a common hardware platform, simplifying system design and scalability.
Each amplifier supports both analog inputs (4 or 8) and up to 16 digital input channels via AES3. An integrated Web UI provides full remote control and monitoring over standard Ethernet, accessible from any web browser — no software required. In essence, the I-Series serves as both an amplifier and a system processor in one, giving integrators a centralized control point for the entire installation.
The DANA PRO DSP engine offers a full matrix router (free assignment of up to 8 analog and 16 AES3 channels to any output), customizable EQ (graphic 1/3-octave and parametric), input delay, channel grouping, macro creation for multi-zone and multi-scenario management, real-time monitoring of signal levels, temperature, channel status, and master controls like mute, standby, and fader.
