Belsimpel Corporate Audio Upgrade — Groningen, The Netherlands
Belsimpel, one of the Netherlands’ leading online retailers for mobile devices and carrier plans, recently enhanced its headquarters in Groningen with a dynamic audio and projection system. The facility includes a spacious canteen and multiple training rooms, regularly used for staff activities, corporate events, and presentations. With an open-plan layout, integrated bar area, and frequent social gatherings, the space demanded an audio solution capable of delivering both immersive sound and dependable daily performance.
This installation was driven by the expertise of Mennegat Trading BV and Mark Molema of MMconcept BV, who handled both the system design and on-site implementation. Together, they were entrusted with a clear and ambitious goal: create a “club-level” audio experience for corporate parties, while ensuring comfortable sound levels and crystal-clear speech for daily use and presentations.
Their solution — a carefully engineered combination of MAG Audio loudspeakers and Powersoft amplification — reflects their commitment to performance, precision, and reliability. Thanks to their thoughtful design and execution, the system delivers immersive sound for events and seamless clarity for everyday operations.
The installation features MAG AIR Series loudspeakers and a MAG X-Series subwoofer, powered by Powersoft Mezzo amplifiers with onboard DSP for tailored acoustic optimization. Around the bar area, three synchronized projection screens support large-scale events, while four training rooms were outfitted with intuitive “plug-and-present” projection setups.

Powersoft Mezzo amplifiers ensure precise tuning across all acoustic scenarios — from ambient background music to full-scale corporate gatherings.
