Ukrainian Association of Football Celebrated 30th Anniversary // MAG Audio

On December 9, the Ukrainian Association of Football celebrated its 30th jubilee anniversary. Stunning celebration took place in the hall of the National Opera of Ukraine. The event has gathered heads of the world’s football associations, football and show business stars, politicians,   statesmen and public leaders. The impeccable sound at the opera was provided by MAG Audio loudspeakers.

The head of UEFA Aleksander Čeferin, the head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Oleksandr Petrakov, the president of the UAF Andrii Pavelko, the owners of the ‘Golden Ball’ Oleg Blokhin and Igor Belanov - it’s just a small part of special guests that were present at the ceremony. The presidential couple, Volodymyr Zelensky and Olena Zelenska, also attended the event.

A real musical present for the guests was a performance by the world-famous Italian tenor Alessandro Safina, who sang his lyrical song “Luna”. The people’s favorite Dzidzio gave a heartfelt performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine, and the famous composer Evgeny Khmara astonished the guests with a fabulous piano play. Also, the evening was graced by the performances of Lyapis 98 band and the vocal quartet of the "Women’s Kvartal" - Vera Kekelia, Marta Adamchuk, Lali Ergemlidze and Elina Mbani.

The artists performed to the live instrumental accompaniment, which gave an absolutely magical sound to the famous hits. And the MAG WASP line array helped to enhance this effect and convey it to every spectator in the audience.

The main PA consisted of 6 x MAG WASP line array modules per side. Thanks to neatly crafted in-house components and unique JD-lens technology, each MAG WASP module works as a fully phased point source. This allows one to reach a completely different level of accuracy and clarity of sound, which is very important for such demanding situations as reinforcing sound for a live orchestra or academic vocals. Low-frequency support was provided by subwoofers of the same series - 4 MAG WASP-S18 each.

MAG STING were used as front-fills. The MAG STING point source system provides the ability to quickly change direction between 110° or 70°, thanks to which one can use it in both near and far fields: as a PA system, delay system, side-fill or front-fill.

MAG Focus 5 were used as stage monitors.

The technical support of the ceremony was provided by PROFI company.
