MAG on tour with Vremya i Steklo band
The Ukrainian band Vremya i Steklo has become a real trendsetter in the Ukrainian modern show business. Their songs are topping the charts of top music channels in Ukraine and abroad, and music videos get millions of views on Youtube — like the music video for the "Name 505" song, which got almost 250 million views. Despite overwhelming success, in early March, the news broke that the guys are going to disband. And this autumn, the duet sets out on a farewell tour, where their “Last dance” will sound with the MAG Audio loudspeakers.
During the 10 years of its existence, the band has repeatedly excited fans with impressive stylish shows. One of these was the VISLOVO concert held at the Palace of Sports in 2019. MAG MUST was chosen to provide this grand street-style party for 10,000 guests — a unique technology that got a Ukrainian record for the “minimal variation of SPL at one location”. The technology is based on the MAG WASP line array, and this is the system which is being used on tour.
MAG WASP is compact and easy to install, which is especially important for frequent transportation on tour. In addition, the unique JD-lens technology for horizontal coverage allows the most accurate sound control on a site. But its main advantage is scalability. The same system is suitable for both 80,000-seater stadiums and cultural city concert halls for a thousand visitors.
On September 24, the band played their first concert in Zhitomir city at the Summer Theater "Shell".
PA consisted of 6 x MAG WASP modules per side and 4 x MAG WASP-S18 per side in cardioid configuration. MAG STING is used as front fill - the latest model in the MAG line, which has yet to be officially presented (follow our news on the website and in social networks).
The MAG STING was also used as a side-fill in combination with the MAG WASP-S18 - one on each side. The configuration is completed by the monitors -— 4 x MAG Focus 5.
1 x Powersoft X8 and 2 x Powersoft T604 are used for amplification.
Technical support on tour is being provided by the Dneprshow company.
